Gamma

What AlgoPro Gamma Does

AlgoPro Gamma is an adaptive trend strategy. It uses adaptive smoothing, fast and slow constants, noise filtering, ATR trailing logic, reset modes, EMA/ADX filters, signal cooldown, and daily MA bias.

Gamma is designed to react to changing market conditions while filtering out some low-quality noise.

Core Entry Logic

Gamma uses:

  • Preset: Default, Fast, Smooth

  • Adaptive Length

  • Fast Constant

  • Slow Constant

  • Enable Noise Filter

  • Noise Threshold

  • ATR Trailing

  • ATR Length

  • ATR Multiplier

  • Stop Lookback

  • Pivot Buffer

  • Reset Mode

  • EMA 200 Filter

  • ADX Filter

  • Signal Cooldown

  • Daily MA Bias for longs and shorts

Adaptive System

The adaptive length controls how much price history affects the signal.

The fast and slow constants control how quickly the strategy reacts.

A faster configuration can catch moves earlier but may create more false signals.

A smoother configuration creates fewer signals but may enter later.

Noise Filter

The noise filter is important for choppy markets. It helps prevent the adaptive system from reacting to small, low-quality moves.

The Noise Threshold controls how strict this filtering is.

Reset Modes

Gamma includes reset modes such as:

These determine how the trend state resets or trails behind price.

Trend Filters

The EMA 200 filter helps align trades with broader trend direction.

The ADX filter can block trades when the market does not have enough trend strength.

Trade Management

Gamma supports:

  • Close on opposite signal

  • Close Early # Bars

  • Break Even # Bars

  • Cool Down # Bars

  • Swing Trading Mode

  • ATR, Volume, MA, High/Low, Percent, or Supertrend trail

  • Take Profit Method

  • Stop Loss Method

  • Trailing TP

  • Trailing SL

  • Dashboards

  • Automation commands

Best Use

Use Gamma when you want an adaptive strategy that can smooth noise, follow trend changes, and use multiple reset/trailing modes.
