Indicator Workflows

TradingView Indicator Workflow Ideas

Overview

AlgoPro indicators are best used as a decision-support system. Each indicator has a different job:

Indicator Type
Main Purpose

Signal tools

Find possible entries and exits

Support/resistance tools

Show key reaction zones

Smart money tools

Show structure, liquidity, FVGs, and order blocks

Oscillators

Confirm momentum, exhaustion, and reversals

Market dashboards

Show broader market condition and confluence

Reversal tools

Help identify possible turning points

The best workflow is usually not to use one indicator by itself. A stronger setup happens when multiple tools agree.

Workflow 1: Simple Signal Confirmation Workflow

Best For

Beginners, general chart trading, and users who want a clean setup without too many tools.

Tools Used

  • AlgoPro V1.2

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro V3 Oscillator or V4 Oscillator

Purpose

This workflow helps users answer:

  1. Is there a valid buy or exit signal?

  2. Is price near an important support or resistance zone?

  3. Does momentum agree with the signal?

How It Works

Use AlgoPro V1.2 as the main signal tool.

Use Support & Resistance to check whether the signal is happening near an important price zone.

Use V3 or V4 Oscillator to confirm whether momentum supports the trade.

Long Setup Example

A stronger long setup may happen when:

  • V1.2 gives a buy signal.

  • Price is near support or breaks above resistance.

  • The oscillator is turning upward.

  • Price is not directly under a major resistance zone.

  • Trend support is holding.

Exit Setup Example

A possible exit or caution signal may happen when:

  • V1.2 gives an exit signal.

  • Price is rejecting resistance.

  • The oscillator is overbought or turning down.

  • Momentum begins weakening.

User Tip

Do not take every V1.2 signal automatically. Use support/resistance and oscillator confirmation to filter weaker setups.

Workflow 2: Smart Money Structure Workflow

Best For

Users who like market structure, liquidity, order blocks, and fair value gaps.

Tools Used

  • AlgoPro Smart Money Concepts

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro V4 Oscillator

Purpose

This workflow helps users understand where price is likely to react before looking for an entry.

How It Works

Use Smart Money Concepts to map structure.

Use Support & Resistance to mark major price zones.

Use V4 Oscillator to confirm momentum or exhaustion.

What to Look For

A higher-quality setup may happen when:

  • Price sweeps liquidity.

  • Price reacts from an order block or FVG.

  • Structure shifts with a BOS or CHoCH.

  • Support/resistance agrees with the area.

  • V4 Oscillator confirms momentum shift.

Long Setup Example

A stronger long idea may happen when:

  • Price sweeps below a previous low.

  • SMC marks a liquidity grab or structure shift.

  • Price reclaims support.

  • V4 Oscillator turns up from a lower zone.

  • Price is not directly below strong resistance.

Short Setup Example

A stronger short idea may happen when:

  • Price sweeps above a previous high.

  • SMC shows a bearish structure shift.

  • Price rejects resistance.

  • V4 Oscillator turns down from an upper zone.

  • Price has room to move lower.

User Tip

SMC is not meant to be a blind signal tool. Use it to find important zones, then wait for confirmation.

Workflow 3: Reversal Trading Workflow

Best For

Users who want to catch possible market turns, exhaustion moves, or pullbacks.

Tools Used

  • AlgoPro Reversal Suite

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro V4 Oscillator

Purpose

This workflow helps users identify potential reversal areas instead of chasing price after a move is already extended.

How It Works

Use Reversal Suite to identify possible bullish or bearish reversal pivots.

Use Fibonacci Support/Resistance Bands inside Reversal Suite to locate reaction zones.

Use Support & Resistance to confirm the area matters.

Use V4 Oscillator to confirm momentum shift.

Bullish Reversal Example

A stronger bullish reversal may happen when:

  • Price reaches a lower Fibonacci support band.

  • Reversal Suite prints a bullish pivot.

  • Price is near a support zone.

  • V4 Oscillator starts turning upward.

  • Selling pressure begins weakening.

Bearish Reversal Example

A stronger bearish reversal may happen when:

  • Price reaches an upper Fibonacci resistance band.

  • Reversal Suite prints a bearish pivot.

  • Price is near a resistance zone.

  • V4 Oscillator starts turning downward.

  • Buying pressure begins weakening.

User Tip

Reversal signals are strongest when they happen at meaningful zones. Avoid buying or selling every pivot label by itself.

Workflow 4: Market Bias Dashboard Workflow

Best For

Users who want a “big picture” view before deciding whether to trade long, short, or stay out.

Tools Used

  • AlgoPro Market Matrix

  • AlgoPro V1.2, V1.3, or V1.4

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

Purpose

This workflow helps users avoid taking trades against the broader market condition.

How It Works

Use Market Matrix first to check the broader environment.

Then use V1.2, V1.3, or V1.4 for signals.

Use Support & Resistance to check whether the trade has room to move.

Bullish Bias Example

A long setup is stronger when:

  • Market Matrix shows bullish confluence.

  • V1.2, V1.3, or V1.4 gives a buy signal.

  • Price is holding support or breaking resistance.

  • There is room before the next resistance zone.

Bearish Bias Example

A short setup is stronger when:

  • Market Matrix shows bearish confluence.

  • V1.2, V1.3, or V1.4 gives a sell or exit signal.

  • Price is rejecting resistance or breaking support.

  • There is room before the next support zone.

When to Avoid Trading

Avoid forcing trades when:

  • Market Matrix is mixed.

  • Price is between support and resistance with no clear direction.

  • Signals disagree across tools.

  • Momentum is flat.

  • Price is directly into a major opposing zone.

User Tip

Market Matrix should be used as a filter, not as the only reason to enter.

Workflow 5: Trend Continuation Workflow

Best For

Users who prefer trading with the trend instead of trying to pick tops and bottoms.

Tools Used

  • AlgoPro V1.5

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro V3 Oscillator

  • Optional: Market Matrix

Purpose

This workflow helps users find continuation trades after a trend has already started.

How It Works

Use V1.5 to identify the active trend and trend support.

Use Support & Resistance to identify pullback zones.

Use V3 Oscillator to confirm that momentum is resetting, not fully reversing.

Use Market Matrix if the user wants broader confirmation.

Long Continuation Example

A stronger long continuation setup may happen when:

  • V1.5 is in bullish mode.

  • Price pulls back toward trend support.

  • Price holds above a support zone.

  • V3 Oscillator cools down and turns back up.

  • Market Matrix remains bullish.

Short Continuation Example

A stronger short continuation setup may happen when:

  • V1.5 is in bearish or exit mode.

  • Price pulls back into resistance.

  • Price rejects the resistance zone.

  • V3 Oscillator turns back down.

  • Market Matrix remains bearish.

User Tip

Trend continuation setups are often cleaner than reversal setups because they trade with the existing direction.

Workflow 6: Breakout Confirmation Workflow

Best For

Users who like trading breakouts but want to avoid fakeouts.

Tools Used

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro Market Matrix

  • AlgoPro V4 Oscillator

  • Optional: V1.2

Purpose

This workflow helps users confirm whether a breakout has strength behind it.

How It Works

Use Support & Resistance to mark the breakout level.

Use Market Matrix to confirm market bias.

Use V4 Oscillator to confirm momentum.

Use V1.2 as an optional signal confirmation.

Bullish Breakout Example

A stronger bullish breakout may happen when:

  • Price breaks above a resistance zone.

  • Market Matrix supports bullish conditions.

  • V4 Oscillator shows rising momentum.

  • V1.5 confirms bullish direction.

  • Price holds above the broken resistance on a retest.

Bearish Breakdown Example

A stronger bearish breakdown may happen when:

  • Price breaks below a support zone.

  • Market Matrix supports bearish conditions.

  • V4 Oscillator shows falling momentum.

  • V1.2 confirms bearish direction.

  • Price retests broken support as resistance.

User Tip

The best breakouts often either expand with strong momentum or retest the broken level before continuing.

Workflow 7: No-Trade Filter Workflow

Best For

All users, especially newer traders.

Tools Used

  • Market Matrix

  • Support & Resistance

  • V3 or V4 Oscillator

Purpose

This workflow helps users identify when not to trade.

Avoiding bad trades is just as important as finding good ones.

Warning Signs

Consider avoiding trades when:

  • Market Matrix is mixed or neutral.

  • Price is trapped between support and resistance.

  • V3 or V4 Oscillator is flat.

  • Signals keep flipping back and forth.

  • Price is directly in the middle of a range.

  • There is no clear room to target.

  • A signal appears right into support or resistance.

  • Multiple tools disagree.

User Tip

A clean no-trade decision is a win. Not every chart condition deserves a trade.

Workflow 8: Beginner Chart Layout

Best For

New users who do not want to overcrowd their chart.

  • AlgoPro V1.2

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro V3 Oscillator

On the main chart:

  • V1.2 for buy/sell signals and trend support.

  • Support & Resistance for key zones.

In the lower panel:

  • V3 Oscillator for momentum confirmation.

How to Use It

  1. Wait for V1.2 signal.

  2. Check whether price is near support/resistance.

  3. Confirm momentum with V3 Oscillator.

  4. Avoid signals directly into major opposing zones.

  5. Use higher timeframe structure for context.

Why This Setup Works

It keeps the chart simple while still covering the three most important pieces:

  • Signal

  • Location

  • Momentum

Workflow 9: Advanced Chart Layout

Best For

Experienced users who want more market context.

  • AlgoPro Market Matrix

  • AlgoPro Smart Money Concepts

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro V4 Oscillator

On the main chart:

  • SMC for structure, liquidity, FVGs, and order blocks.

  • Support & Resistance for major reaction zones.

  • Market Matrix dashboard for confluence/bias.

In the lower panel:

  • V4 Oscillator for momentum and exhaustion.

How to Use It

  1. Check Market Matrix for bias.

  2. Mark major zones with SMC and Support & Resistance.

  3. Wait for price to reach a meaningful zone.

  4. Look for BOS, CHoCH, liquidity sweep, or rejection.

  5. Confirm momentum shift with V4 Oscillator.

  6. Avoid trades when dashboard and structure disagree.

Why This Setup Works

It gives the user a full market map:

  • Bias

  • Structure

  • Liquidity

  • Zones

  • Momentum

Workflow 10: Reversal Suite Layout

Best For

Users who specifically want reversal and exhaustion setups.

  • AlgoPro Reversal Suite

  • AlgoPro Support & Resistance

  • AlgoPro V4 Oscillator

On the main chart:

  • Reversal Suite for RSI/KDE pivot signals and Fibonacci Support/Resistance Bands.

  • Support & Resistance for major price zones.

In the lower panel:

  • V4 Oscillator for momentum shift confirmation.

How to Use It

  1. Wait for price to approach a Fibonacci support or resistance band.

  2. Check whether the area overlaps with support/resistance.

  3. Wait for Reversal Suite pivot confirmation.

  4. Confirm momentum shift with V4 Oscillator.

  5. Avoid taking pivots in the middle of nowhere.

Why This Setup Works

It combines:

  • Reversal signal

  • Fibonacci reaction zone

  • Price structure

  • Momentum confirmation

This helps users avoid blindly trading every reversal label.
