Understanding Strategy Metrics

Net Profit

Net Profit shows how much the strategy has gained overall.

Higher profit is good, but it should always be compared with drawdown, trade count, and profit factor.

Win Rate

Win Rate shows how many trades were winners.

A high win rate can be helpful, but it does not always mean the strategy is better. Some strategies win less often but have larger winning trades.

Profit Factor

Profit Factor compares total profit to total loss.

A Profit Factor above 1.00 means the strategy has made more than it lost.

General guide:

Below 1.00 = Losing
1.00–1.25 = Weak
1.25–1.50 = Acceptable
1.50–2.00 = Strong
2.00+ = Very strong

Drawdown

Drawdown shows the largest drop from a previous equity high.

Lower drawdown usually means smoother performance.

For prop firm traders, drawdown is especially important.

Total Trades

Total Trades shows how many trades the strategy has taken.

More trades can make the results more reliable, but quality matters more than quantity.

30D and 90D Performance

These show how the strategy has performed recently.

30D shows shorter-term performance.

90D gives a broader recent view.

AI Score

The AI Score helps compare strategies more fairly.

It is not based only on raw profit. Different markets can produce different profit levels, so the AI Score focuses more on strategy quality.

The score considers things like:

  • Return compared to drawdown

  • Profit Factor

  • Drawdown

  • Win Rate

  • Average win vs. average loss

  • Trade count

  • 30D and 90D consistency

AI Score Labels

AI Score is helpful, but it does not guarantee future results.

Always review the full strategy details before using a strategy.
