# TradingView Tool Access
How to gain access to AlgoPro TradingView tools
## How to Get TradingView Access After Purchasing AlgoPro
After purchasing AlgoPro, you’ll need to connect your TradingView username so access can be added to your invite-only scripts.
This process only needs to be done once unless you change your TradingView account later.\

If many users are syncing or resyncing TradingView usernames at the same time, it can overload the system and take longer than normal.

## Step 1: Create or Log Into Your TradingView Account
Before requesting access, make sure you already have a TradingView account from
Go to TradingView and log into the account you want to use with AlgoPro, then go to your TradingView account and find your username.
Important:
```
You can only connect one TradingView username to your AlgoPro account.
```
Make sure you enter the correct TradingView username. This is the account that will receive access to the AlgoPro invite-only scripts.

## Step 2: Log Into Your AlgoPro Account
Go to the AlgoPro website and log into the same account you used when purchasing.
Then go to:
```
My Account → TradingView Access
```
This page is where you connect your TradingView username and manage your script access.

## Step 3: Enter Your TradingView Username
On the TradingView Access page, enter your TradingView username.
Your TradingView username is **not your email address**.
Example:
```
Correct: AlgoTrader123
Incorrect: algotrader@email.com
```
After entering your username, click:
```
Submit Username
```
Once submitted, your username will be locked to your AlgoPro account.\

As you can only have one username synced per account, it will show "Locked" next to your username once submitted. To change your username you can request to unlock it and switch usernames.

## Step 4: Wait for Access to Sync
After submitting your username, AlgoPro will automatically send your access request to TradingView.
In most cases, access is added quickly, but it can take 5-15 minutes.
You should see a status showing whether access is:
```
Pending
Granted
Synced
Failed
```
If your access does not appear immediately, click:
```
Refresh My Access
```
This tells the system to re-check your active AlgoPro plan and resend access to any scripts included with your purchase.

## Step 5: Open TradingView
After access is granted, go to TradingView and refresh your browser.
Open a chart, then go to:
```
Indicators → Invite-only scripts
```
Your AlgoPro scripts should appear there.
If you do not see them right away, refresh TradingView or log out and back into TradingView.

## If You Need to Change Your TradingView Username
Because AlgoPro scripts are invite-only, usernames cannot be changed freely over and over.
If you need to switch to a different TradingView account, go to:
```
My Account → TradingView Access
```
Then use the username change option if available.
When your username is changed:
```
Old TradingView username loses access
New TradingView username receives access
```
This prevents account sharing and keeps your access secure.

## Common Issues
### I don’t see the TradingView Access page
Make sure you are logged into the same AlgoPro account that made the purchase.
Go to:
```
My Account → TradingView Access
```
### It says I don’t have eligible access
This usually means one of these:
```
Your order has not processed yet
You are logged into the wrong account
Your subscription is not active
Your payment failed
Your purchase does not include TradingView script access
```
### I entered my email instead of my TradingView username
TradingView access is granted by username, not email.
If you entered the wrong username, request a username change from the TradingView Access page or contact support.
### I don’t see the scripts in TradingView
Try this:
```
Refresh TradingView
Log out and back into TradingView
Check Indicators → Invite-only scripts
Click Refresh My Access from your AlgoPro account
```
Make sure you are logged into the same TradingView account whose username you submitted.

## Quick Checklist
Before contacting support, confirm:
```
You are logged into the correct AlgoPro account
Your AlgoPro purchase/subscription is active
You entered your TradingView username, not your email
You are logged into the matching TradingView account
You checked TradingView → Indicators → Invite-only scripts
You clicked Refresh My Access
```
If you still need help, contact AlgoPro support with:
```
Your AlgoPro account email
Your TradingView username
The plan or product you purchased
A screenshot of your TradingView Access page
```
